What We Do
Helping Women of Color and Early Career Professionals Thrive and Perform without Burning Out

We coach early to mid-career professionals, especially women of color, on managing their career, perform with impact, and receive the recognition they desire.
We also guide organizations on future-proofing their early to mid-career talent pipeline by engaging and retaining talent from day one.
By 2030, 30% of the workforce will be Gen Z, but most companies are already losing this top talent within their first year. The result?
-
Rising recruitment costs
-
Missed performance targets
-
A fragile talent pipeline with no long-term payout
-
Burnt out managers from over-coaching underdeveloped talent
At the same time, women of color, despite being the most educated and driven, remain vastly underrepresented in leadership roles due to visible and invisible barriers and unspoken corporate rules.

This is not just a corporate crisis, it’s personal.

Turn Potential into Results

People Leaders: Improve your people strategy to retain top Gen Z talent and ease the load on your managers while supporting your teams and business outcomes.

Professional Women of Color (WOC): Receive the needed career coaching, guidance and tools to successfully navigate corporate spaces, gain career clarity for your next steps, and get the recognition and pay you worked so hard for.

It's time to get unstuck and make some moves that actually work.

Talent Acquisition Leader
"I have been extremely impressed with Dr. Rhea's ability to analyze the data she pulls and then put it into applicable insights. She's also able to take in a lot of new information and consistently give germane and thoughtful recommendations and ideas. Dr. Rhea brings a rare ability to think both at a 10,000 foot view and also down into the weeds to help connect the dots."
G.P.
Senior Partner
"Dr. Rhea was consistently prepared for every meeting and contributed meaningfully to every iteration of the work. She formulated thoughts, ideas, articulated potential issues and developed solutions for the team to consider. When she recognized gaps, she leaned in. She easily gained the trust and respect of our team."
C.W.
Facilities Coordinator
“Dr. Rhea helped me so much in figuring out my career by being personable and asking the right questions. I think what helps Dr. Rhea to stand out from other coaches is that she gets to know people first.”
J.O.
Financial Analyst
“I truly enjoyed working with Dr. Rhea. She goes above and beyond to make sure you have a holistic look at your expectations and what you can achieve if you focus on certain attributes. She is also very good at following up and making sure that you track your goals. Dr. Rhea opened my eyes in situations where I thought I couldn't make it and made me realize that if I believe in myself, others will also believe in me.”
My Reviews
About Me
Hello, I'm Dr. Rhea Horton, owner and CEO of Career Bliss LLC.
As a first-generation professional, I’ve lived the challenge of navigating corporate spaces and culture without a roadmap or much guidance. From HR to talent and career development, I’ve supported every stage of the employee journey, specializing in early to mid-career development and engagement strategies. I've coached over 1,300 professionals who felt overlooked, under-supported, stuck and unsure of their next move, helping them achieve their desired results.

I created the L.E.A.P. Framework to help companies stop the revolving door of top Gen Z talent. It’s not just about retention; it’s about building a future-ready workforce that performs.

If you're a people leader looking to build a sustainable early to mid-career pipeline, then let’s connect and future-proof your workforce.

I also know what it’s like to be the only one in the room, overqualified, undervalued, and told to “wait your turn.” That’s why I created the B.O.S.S. Up Coaching Program for women of color who are ready to get promoted, want to be recognized for their hard work, and stop shrinking to fit in.
If you're a woman who is tired of burning yourself out but told you aren't promotion-ready, and who wants to be properly recognized for your hard work, then join us and B.O.S.S. Up your career.
